ABSTRACT

Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) still exists, but the implementation of health protocols, namely maintaining distance, wearing masks, and washing hands (3M) is not optimal and has received more attention lately. Previous studies applied the IoT concepts to hand sanitizer systems and automatic body temperature measurements. However, this research has not been optimal for system integration in solving problems. Existing research only focuses on temperature sensor readings which can be monitored in real-time by installing third-party applications first. Therefore, we make an automatic hand sanitizer and body temperature measurement system equipped with low liquid hand sanitizer condition notification by implementing modifications using PHP MySQL website and notification feature via Twilio bot integrated with WhatsApp. The feature is based on previous research proposals. Based on the test results, the performance of the system prototype is considered good. The system prototype can produce an average of 1.1 mL as the recommended average hand sanitizer in one use of less than 1.74 mL. Then the system prototype has a hand sanitizer fluid accuracy of 90.4% and an accuracy of MLX90614 temperature sensor of 99.9%. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is the current biggest health problem that has caused pandemic in hundreds of countries worldwide. Important efforts for COVID-19 prevention and management have been implemented by WHO and many countries;however, the number of new cases is still increasing. The objective of this review is to formulate appropriate strategies to tackle COVID-19 pandemic using molecular mechanisms-based approach. COVID-19 preventive measures aim to avoid virus entry to human cells by applying physical distancing, hand washing and personal protective equipment, maintaining good immune system by balanced nutrition and physical exercise, developing vaccine against the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) based on comprehensive analysis on SARS-CoV-2 antigen presentation and subsequent immunological cascades, considering the patients' clinical condition including biomolecular parameters, and developing drugs by designing inhibitors for SARS-CoV-2 proteins responsible for virus replication and transcription.

ABSTRACT

The Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on the global economy. Where almost all business sectors are affected, due to the economic domino effect that occurs. One type of industry that has been severely influenced by Covid-19 is banking industry, as the result of the economic downturn and changes in customer transaction preferences. Therefore companies must implement an integrated strategy to improve digital performance and hence increase the company's sustainability. In this critical phase, companies need commitment, engagement, and support from their leaders and employee. Leaders should act and energize in same pages and attitudes, i.e transformational leadership styles, in order to maintain overall process runs smoothly. Company also should maintain employee’ job satisfaction in order to obtain full employee’ cooperation and ensure best service delivered. The findings show that the transformational leadership climate experienced by workers during the acceleration of Digital Transformation due to Covid-19 Pandemic, has a positive significant effect on job satisfaction. This is a preliminary research that has limitations, including the number of samples and types of banking companies studied. The practical implication of this research is to raise awareness, to prioritize human resource practices that support job satisfaction so that the digital transformation process can run smoothly © 2020.
